A handcrafted knife made from Yasugi steel, which is closest to the steel used in Japanese swords. The perfect household knife for cutting any meat, vegetable or small fish.

With the included sharpening stone you will be able to resharpen the knife to your liking. It will be a long lasting companion in your kitchen.

Shirou Kunimitsu Kurouchi Vegetable Knife

This is a superb knife which I enjoy using.Extremely sharp and the weight of the blade is almost enough to slice some items by itself.The blade has an attractive hamon and the steel has a delightful aroma when rinsed in cold water.I enjoyed watching the craftsmen forging the blades and hope I can maintain it correctly.

Minomo and Shirou Kunimitsu Knives

Happy with both knives they came nice and sharp and delivered in nice packaging with good quality Whetstones which I have not tried yet.
The Shirou knife has a really colorful and interesting Kurouchi finish. The Spine and Choil were a bit rough which was easily smoothed with a piece of sandpaper.
The Minomo had nice engraving and was like I expected. The Handle nice but plain with no finish.
