Every knife in our Collector selection is forged on commission from rare materials such as tamahagane, the same sword steel used by Japanese katana smiths for over 800 years, by blacksmiths such as Bizen Osafune Swordsmith, Shiro Kunimitsu or Takeshi Saji
These are not held in stock. Each piece is commissioned upon order, with lead times communicated after checking carefully with the artisan. Owners typically acquire these knives as functional art, heirloom gifts, or the keystone of a serious collection. An authentic piece of art made just for you.
