Every knife in our curated Japanese knife collection is sourced directly from the blacksmiths who made it, not through distributors or wholesale catalogues. We work closely with Sakai Takayuki, Minomo Blacksmith, Nakamura Hamono, Nishida Hamono, Shiro Kunimitsu, Kurotori Blacksmith, Tadokoro Hamono, Fukuda Hamono, and over a dozen more traditional Japanese blacksmiths, all of them you can also see featured on our YouTube channel Japanese Food Craftsman, with over 1.7 million subscribers.
